Rich and Barbara are so busy that they frequently feel pressured. Changes – such as sick friends, upcoming retirement, requests to do and volunteer more – are everywhere around them and add to their stress. Yet, they want to do even more. . . they have huge expectations for themselves and others.

Modern technology is not helping. In fact, it is making things worse. Rich and Barbara have way too much paper, email and other information coming at them, much of it contradictory and misleading. There are sometimes so many alternatives available that they just put all the information aside, unable to make a decision, frozen.

Changes and busyness are holding them back. Their commitments to themselves (health, “me” time, financial, tax and legal affairs) sometimes suffer.
