About Laura

Laura joined Fischer On Finance in September, 2006. She has experience in human resources, event planning, and non-profit administrative support. Her responsibilities at Fischer on Finance include: client services, human resources, and office management. Her professional mission is to keep client’s information organized and current, provide top notch customer service and open, honest communication. Laura comes from a family of six children. She graduated from Luther College, in Decorah IA, with a double major in Religion and German. She is married to Troy, who is a Registered Nurse. They have a dog named Casey, who is bossy and barks a lot, and a cat named Sasha, who loves catnip, chasing laser lights, and talking. Laura and Troy are also licensed foster parents for children ages 0 to 18 years of age.

In her free time, Laura plays with her foster child(ren), exercises her dog, reads, spends time with family and friends, plays piano, and works on minor home improvement projects.
